Rovos Rail offers a refined and enriching experience for all travellers, whether you are traveling solo, as a couple, or in a group. The dining cars, with two-seater and four-seater tables, allow for both intimate and social dining experiences. Guests are encouraged to dress smart-casual during the day, with formal attire for the evening. On longer journeys, themed evenings provide an opportunity to dress up for a special occasion. The observation car, with its open-air balcony and panoramic windows, is perfect for taking in the scenery or enjoying a quiet moment with a book. Afternoon tea is served daily, and bar service is available from early morning until late at night. Additionally, the lounge car offers cozy sofas and booths, ideal for mingling or simply watching the world go by. Rovos Rail offers three types of suites, each providing a sanctuary of comfort and privacy. The Pullman Suite (7 square metres in size) is perfect for solo travellers or couples, featuring a sofa during the day that converts into either twin beds or a double bed by night, with an en-suite bathroom equipped with a shower. All suites are serviced daily by a dedicated host or hostess, ensuring every guest's comfort and convenience throughout the journey.
