On arrival at Kigali International you will be warmly welcomed by your tour coordinator outside customs and immigration hall.

You will be transferred to your hotel for a safari briefing then introduction to your driver guide.

Travel Kigali to Volcanoes National Park

Travel Kigali to Volcanoes National Park

You will embark on a city tour of Kigali. It will include the Kigali (Gisozi) Genocide Memorial site, Inema Arts Center and the Kimironko local market.

You’ll then be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your scenic helicopter transfer to Musanze.

Arrive at The One & Only Gorillas Nest Heli pad, the lodge staff will welcome you to your suite.

GORILLA TREK IN VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK

Early morning you will be transferred to starting point of your Gorilla Trek. Volcanoes National Park protects the steep slopes of this magnificent mountain range. It is the home of the rare mountain gorilla and the rich mosaic of montane ecosystems, which embrace evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp and heath.
But the high point will be spending an hour with the remarkably peaceful gorillas, despite their size and appearance, as they go about their daily life, feeding, playing, resting and raising their young.
After trekking, you will return to your lodge for lunch.

GOLDEN MONKEY TREK & TRANSFER TO KIGALI

GOLDEN MONKEY TREK & TRANSFER TO KIGALI

Today, embark on Golder Monkey Trek. The Golden Monkey is endemic to the high altitude forests. The monkeys are playful and inquisitive and often spend their time leaping from bamboo branches or frolicking on the forest floor. There are two habituated groups of Golden Monkey, one group comprises around 80 - 100 members and has its home at the foot of Mt Sabyinyo.
After this memorable experience, return to the lodge, lunch and check out and settle extras. You will be transferred to Kigali International Airport. Bid farewell to your driver guide and proceed to check in for your outbound flight.
