The giraffes are the stars of the show at Giraffe Manor, located in a leafy suburb of Nairobi on a 140-acre forested sanctuary. Close-up encounters with them over breakfast and afternoon tea are magical. The inquisitive giraffes are always keen to be hand fed.

The 113 square-metre Karen Blixen room at Giraffe Manor is located on the top floor of the main manor house, and provides guests with the opportunity to feed the giraffes in the early morning hours. Each of the two bedrooms has its own en-suite facilities with bathtub, shower and twin sinks. The master bedroom has a king-sized four poster bed, whilst the second bedroom has two single four poster beds and a small daybed which can accommodate a young child. The room also has a spacious lounge with a fireplace and a writing desk.

They all have open fireplaces, lit each evening with a basket of sustainably sourced firewood nearby along with verandas with breath-taking views. The bathrooms are spacious and have both baths and showers which look out over the wilds of Africa.

Perched on the edge of a river valley, the architecture of Sasaab blends Swahili and Moroccan design principals in which the African heat is of primary consideration.

Comprised of eight individual rooms with huge thatched roofs, canvas sides and sensational views across river and beyond, each room is uniquely styled with a private plunge pool and open veranda. The accommodation is more than spacious, with large double and twin ensuite bedrooms connected by a breezy open sided lounge area in the middle and an expansive wooden deck out to the front.

Sala’s Camp offers a bespoke safari for up to 22 guests across seven luxury tents along the Sand River, blending classic safari charm with modern amenities like private pools and glass-fronted tents. Each tent boasts elegant interiors, en-suite bathrooms, solar-powered electricity (with a backup generator), and eco-conscious features like tree-planting and water-saving initiatives. Guests unwind after game drives with hammocks, private pools, and expert massages. The camp hosts special sundowner experiences and dinners under the stars. The Forest Family Tent features an open-plan design with two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and a lounge area in between, offering privacy if desired.
